Ever wonder how we decide when to harvest our grapes? What we look for and what we measure?
Tag along with Jeff Strekas, Director of Winegrowing, on a walk around the vineyard and get a peek into harvest from his point of view. Pick and taste the grapes directly from the vines, assess the skins and seeds, and learn what biases he tries to avoid when taking samples.
This limited workshop is on Sunday, October 17th, and will be offered at 3 different times: 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm. Tickets are $15 per person and include wine pours.
Please wear shoes appropriate for traversing around the vineyard as this will be a walking tour. Arrangements for a mule ride along can be made on a very limited basis, call or email to arrange for the mule ride.
