The Quietest Part of the Day
The mornings are the quietest part. Fog rolls through the Templeton Gap from the coast eight miles west, and the vineyard sits still while it burns off. By mid-morning the rows of Grenache and Syrah catch full sun, and the estate wakes up. You might walk the vines before breakfast or sit out on the patio with coffee and watch the farm animals wander past the garden.
The Trip Is Yours to Shape
Every stay on the ONX estate starts the same way: a bottle of wine and fresh pastries waiting in your kitchen when you arrive. From there, the trip is yours to shape. Most guests book a vineyard tour at some point during their visit. It is an off-road ride through the blocks in a side-by-side vehicle, with stops to taste wine right where the grapes were picked. Your host drives you through the soils, the clones, and the farming practices that make each block different from the next.
Evenings Settle Back on the Property
When you are ready to venture off the property, our Vineyard Stays & Experience Team can set up your days. Paso Robles has more than 200 wineries within a 30-minute drive, and Tin City, the industrial wine district where our tasting room lives, is a 15-minute trip from the estate. The concierge books restaurant reservations, arranges tasting appointments, and shares local favorites so you get the most out of your trip.
Evenings tend to settle back on the property. Light the private outdoor fire pit at Clark House, cook over the grill at Kiler Canyon, or open a bottle on the Briarwood covered patio while the sun drops behind the hills. The county noise ordinance kicks in at 9 PM, and by then most guests are happy to let the quiet take over.

Vineyard Hideaway Picnic
$65 non-member / $50 member
A private picnic set up among the vines with food, games, and a self-guided tasting kit. Available Thursday through Sunday. Popular for anniversaries and arrival-day evenings.

Oasis Rental
Collective Members Only
Reserve a semi-private vineyard oasis for up to 10 guests. Bring your own picnic and spend the afternoon in the vines. Available exclusively to Collective Club members with a minimum bottle purchase (based on group size).

Stay on the estate during the busiest and most exciting time of year. Watch the picking crews work the rows outside your window, smell the crush in the air, and taste wines straight from the tank. Book early. Harvest weekends fill months in advance.
The estate vineyard, the 200-year-old Grace oak at Briarwood, and the rolling hills at Kiler Canyon have all served as the backdrop for unforgettable memories. Guests come here to reconnect with old friends, celebrate birthdays, mark anniversaries, and enjoy the kind of time together that only happens when everyone slows down.
Clark House sleeps up to 12 and is built for groups. Add a private ONX Estate Vineyard Tour & Tasting and a catered dinner on the property for a retreat that nobody forgets. For groups larger than 12, we can arrange multi-property bookings across the estate.
Book two or all three properties and give everyone their own space while sharing the same vineyard. Mornings at the animal farm, afternoons on the tour, evenings around the grill. The Vineyard Stays & Experience Team handles the logistics so you can focus on the people.

The ONX Estate Vineyard is located at 1200 Paseo Excelsus, Templeton, CA 93465. The property is a 10-minute drive west of downtown Paso Robles, about 30 minutes from San Luis Obispo, and roughly three hours from Los Angeles or four hours from San Francisco.
