About The Chef
Ted Fondulas is an acclaimed chef and restaurateur featured in Esquire, Condé Nast Traveller, Food & Wine, and on the Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs of the East, and is the owner of one of Food & Wine’s Top 25 Restaurants in the U.S. After an early childhood spent cooking in family kitchens, Ted pursued literature before rediscovering his passion for food through travels in France and Italy. He worked in top hotels and restaurants in New York and California before settling in Vermont, where he and his wife, Linda, opened the critically acclaimed Hemingway’s Restaurant in 1982. A pioneer of Vermont’s farm-to-table movement, Chef Ted earned multiple Four-Star and Four-Diamond honors and the Robert Mondavi Culinary Award of Excellence. He now shares his expertise through private cooking classes with The Chef & The Dish.
